What in the World?

Conspiracy or intentional plan?

As I have mentioned already, the existence and the planned implementation of the Great Reset is not questioned—quite the opposite—public acknowledgment for the movement by its advocates and instigators is readily available. Where the idea of conspiracy about the Great Reset comes into question pertains to the perceived goals and motivations of those attempting to implement the Great Reset. For example, turning again to Dr. Joseph Mercola, he describes the situation in terms of a digital dictatorship.

Driven by fear [e.g. COVID-19 and global warming], confusion, and manufacturing consent, the US, and indeed much of the world, seems to be degenerating into what Indian scholar, author, and environmental activist Vandana Shiva and others have described as digital dictatorship...This Western elite is led by hypercapitalist billionaires such as Bill Gates (Microsoft) and Eric Schmidt (Google), along with their other tech giant cohorts in Silicon Valley (Facebook, Amazon, Apple, Oracle, et cetera), Big Pharma, Wall Street, multinational corporate executives, the World Economic forum, and the military-industrial biowar complex (The Truth About COVID-19, p. 4).

If we turn to Hitchcock and Kinley, we find they too are warning the public that large scale globalism is on the near horizon (emphasis added).

Because the elite who make up the WEF believe we are a planet in perilous transition, they continue frantically spinning the COVID-19 crisis to their advantage. They do not hide the fact that the globalism they propose is rooted in democratic socialism and world citizenry. That in itself is alarming enough, as the socialist experiment has been a dismal failure in every country where it has been applied...As a result, a huge component of this radical ideological shift necessitates a “geopolitical reset,” meaning that nationalism (nations governing themselves independently) must be replaced by a global governance system where services, people, capital, and data can be freely exchanged...So globalism becomes the foundation of world citizenry, and individualism must yield to the collective whole (Global Reset, p. 9).

And if we listen to Jordan Peterson, we find that he too points to the activities of the elite ruling members who appear to be driving the world into a direction that provides for them financial gain at the expense of the citizens of the world’s nations. I invite you to listen carefully to Peterson’s public video by clicking here.

In response, news outlets such as the BBC claim the Great Reset has simply been hijacked by conspiracy theorists. According to the BBC, these conspirators “spin dark tales about an authoritarian socialist world government run by powerful capitalists and politicians—a secret cabal that is broadcasting its plan around the world”. You can read the article here.

There are two primary issues with this typical article and its accusations of conspiracy.

First, the article intentionally does not provide sufficient insight into the matter. The response is far too simplistic and the author’s argument favors on the side of the proponents of the Great Reset. Rather than acknowledging the obvious concerns about what is transpiring and the inherent dangers of placing too much power into the hands of a small and enormously wealthy and unelected ruling group, the legitimate concerns are deemed as conspiracies. In doing so, the media outlets appear as the information arm of the very movement under question.

Secondly, incorrect information is presented to refute the argument. It is probably best not to say that incorrect information is presented, but information that obfuscates the matter causing what is essentially an untrue argument. I often give people an example of telling a partial truth when I say, “I was never balding until I got married.” A perfectly true statement but perfectly misleading and perfectly untrue because I was married 30 years ago. The years have been hard on my hairline. This tactic is often used by the media industry—make an argument by obfuscating the truth.

That is not to say that everyone who makes a conspiracy argument is correct and that we should agree with their views. Glen Beck is accurate in his assessment and offers good advice:

Of course, this does not mean that all or even most conspiracies should be taken seriously. In recent years, ridiculous conspiracy theories covering everything from fake moon landings to shape-shifting reptilians controlling the government have become popular among some groups of Americans. And although it is tempting to laugh away sweaty rants by tinfoil hat-wearing fat guys lamenting the rise of lizard people, conspiracy theories that are not grounded in truth, and the media’s decision to engage in the rampant dissemination of false information to achieve political goals, have become two of the biggest threats facing America today (The Great Reset, p. 249).

How then do we know?

This being the case, how can we know which side is correct? The answer is simple. Listen to both sides and learn what is taking place in the world. Much the same as looking at the frame of a house and knowing that a house is under construction and not a ship.

Fortunately for us all, there is ample concrete research, information, and knowledgeable people to inform us. Additionally, we can be motivated to learn and understand these issues from those warning our society for three basic reasons.

First, many of the people warning society are highly educated, lucid, creditable, respected, and knowledgeable people in their fields of expertise. In fact, because of their diverse backgrounds, they combine to provide a full perspective of the differing aspects of the Great Reset including the political, medical, artificial intelligence, computing, education, and related fields. Many of these persons are not of the fringe element they are portrayed to be by the national media system, but are among the most informed, creditable, and clear thinkers in society.

Many of these people are attempting to do service for the general public by disseminating critical information about what is taking place. It should come as no surprise that many of these researchers and public critics of the Great Reset are experiencing backlash from a government and media system that is attempting to silence their critics; possibly better said, paint their critics as fringe and far right-winged conspirators who lack creditable information passed on as fake news. We now live in a country where canceling those who disagree with public media rhetoric is the new normal. Our nation’s high regard for freedom of speech and open dialogue is becoming a mark of the past.

Secondly, we should be motivated to know what is transpiring because much is at stake here—much more than most Americans are aware of. When we look more intentionally at what is taking place, we will be in a better position to prepare for what is on the horizon.

Third, and most importantly, the implementation of the Great Reset, combined with many other events that are taking place, appears to fulfill biblical prophesy leading many to believe that “...the spirit of their agenda undoubtedly dovetails rather seamlessly with the future empire predicted in Scripture” (Global Reset, p. 18). This is the most important aspect of this discussion. Frankly stated, the Great Reset and the implications that comes with it, may very well be the catalyst for the end-time system that institutes the Mark of the Beast as described in the Book of Revelation. If that seems like a strange or impossible statement, continue reading for further explanation.

But before we discuss this critical point further, let’s discuss what the Great Reset actually is.
